Terms of Service

Effective September 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Portview and any related websites, applications, or services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Portview. Your continued use of the Service following any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older, that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and that your use of the Service does not violate any applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction. If you are using the Service on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Description of Service

Portview is a portfolio tracking and investment dashboard that allows you to monitor your investments, track dividends, view asset allocation, and analyze financial performance across multiple accounts. The Service aggregates and displays financial data for informational purposes only.

Not Financial Advice. Portview is not a licensed financial advisor, broker, investment manager, or financial planner. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice. All information displayed through the Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only. You should consult a qualified financial professional before making any investment decisions.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will try to provide advance notice of material changes where reasonably practicable. We have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the Service beyond what is described on the Service or in your plan.

4. Account Registration & Security

To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep that information up to date. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@portview.finance if you suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from your failure to keep your credentials secure.

You may not create multiple accounts, share your account with others, or transfer your account to another person without our prior written consent. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or are used in violation of these Terms.

5. License & Restrictions

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

You may not:

  • License, sell, rent, lease, transfer, assign, distribute, or commercially exploit the Service or any content on it;
  • Modify, create derivative works from, disassemble, reverse-compile, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service;
  • Access the Service in order to build a similar or competing product or service;
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, download, display, post, or transmit any part of the Service except as these Terms expressly permit.

All copyright and proprietary notices on the Service must be kept intact on any copies you are permitted to make.

6. Feedback

If you share feedback, ideas, or suggestions about the Service with us, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive, fully-paid, royalty-free license to use that feedback freely, in any manner and for any purpose, without attribution or compensation. Please do not send us feedback you consider proprietary or confidential.

7. Subscription & Payment

Access to paid features of the Service requires an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select). By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method at the beginning of each billing period.

Payments are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor, which is identified in our Privacy Policy. By completing a purchase, you also agree to that processor's terms of service. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

Subscription prices are displayed at the time of purchase and are subject to change. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect for existing subscribers. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing. If a payment fails, we may attempt to collect payment again and may suspend access to paid features until payment is received.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to paid features until that date. You may request a full refund within 14 days of any subscription payment. Outside that window, we do not provide refunds or credits for unused time remaining in a billing period, except where required by law. See our Refund Policy for details.

After cancellation, your account will be downgraded to the free tier (if available) or deactivated. Your data will be retained for 30 days following cancellation, after which it may be permanently deleted.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or any other accounts, systems, or networks connected to the Service;
  • Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access or interact with the Service without our prior written consent;
  • Transmit any content that is harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or the systems or networks connected to it;
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity;
  • Use the Service to engage in market manipulation or any fraudulent financial activity.

We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate action against anyone who violates these provisions, including terminating their account and reporting them to law enforcement authorities.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service and all content, features, and functionality thereof (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software) are owned by Portview or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you, except for the limited access rights granted in Section 5.

You retain ownership of any financial data and personal information you import into or enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to access and process that data solely to provide, secure, and improve the Service.

11. Third-Party Services & Data Sources

The Service integrates with or relies on third-party services, including hosting providers, financial market data providers, and payment processors. Where the Service offers a connection to an external account or platform, that connection is optional and initiated by you. We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for any third-party service, and the applicable third party's own terms and privacy practices will govern your use of it.

Market prices, portfolio valuations, dividend figures, and other financial data displayed through the Service are sourced from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. You should not rely on this data for real-time trading decisions.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites provided for convenience only. We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party websites or services.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. It describes the personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the tracking technologies the Service uses. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy and that we will process your personal data in accordance with it.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy with respect to the collection, use, or processing of your personal data, the Privacy Policy controls.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. PORTVIEW DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL CODE. PORTVIEW DOES NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY FINANCIAL DATA DISPLAYED THROUGH THE SERVICE.

YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. FINANCIAL DATA DISPLAYED THROUGH THE SERVICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON FOR TRADING OR INVESTMENT DECISIONS.

Where applicable law does not permit the exclusion of implied warranties, those warranties are limited to 90 days from your first use of the Service.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PORTVIEW AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, COSTS OF SUBSTITUTE PRODUCTS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL PORTVIEW'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PORTVIEW IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. THE EXISTENCE OF MULTIPLE CLAIMS DOES NOT INCREASE THIS CAP.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification & Release

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Portview and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights. We may assume control of the defense of any such claim at your expense, and you agree to cooperate with our defense. You may not settle any such claim without our prior written consent.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Portview and its officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns from all claims, demands, and damages of any kind arising out of or related to third-party services or third-party data displayed through the Service.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us.

Upon account deletion, we will retain your data for up to 30 days before permanent deletion, except where longer retention is required by law. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 6, and 10 through 20) shall survive any termination.

17. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties within 30 days of written notice.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Indonesia. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of Indonesian courts for any such disputes. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property rights or prevent irreparable harm.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

18. Accessibility

We are committed to making the Service usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. If you have difficulty accessing or navigating any part of the Service, or you have a suggestion for improving accessibility, contact us at support@portview.finance and we will make reasonable efforts to address it.

19. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

20. General Provisions

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Portview with respect to the Service.

Electronic Communications. By using the Service, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, by email or by notices posted on the Service. These electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Export Controls. You agree not to export, re-export, or transfer any data or software obtained from the Service in violation of any applicable export control or sanctions laws.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction. These Terms bind any permitted assignees.

Interpretation.The word “including” means “including without limitation”. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
